What each one emphasises (from their pricing pages)
- TraderSync: broker and exchange sync ("over 700 brokers and trading platforms"), market replay for backtesting, and an AI assistant (Cypher) with a daily message allowance per plan (5, 15 or 60). Strategy checker for trade plans with risk rules and position limits.
- Tradervue: unlimited imports and accounts on both paid plans, broker sync, mentoring, charts with entries and exits. Gold adds trade exit performance analysis, max potential P&L and commission and fee support.
- Edgewonk: one plan with every feature: automated imports, MFE/MAE reports, mistake tracking, setup checklists, a trade management optimizer, psychology tools ("Tiltmeter") and report cards.
- TradesViz: a very large stats library ("600+"), AI features (AI Coach, AI Query and more), simulators, and a REST API and hosted MCP connection on paid plans. The free Basic plan covers stocks only, so crypto traders need Pro or Platinum.
- Daily Edge: a daily check-in journal (plan, rules, streaks, daily loss and trade limits) with paper trading, charts and calculators, all running in the browser. Trades come in by hand or from a Coinbase, Kraken or Binance CSV; there is no broker sync and no API-key connection.
Trade-offs to think about
- Sync vs privacy. Automatic broker sync saves typing but means an online account holding your trade history and usually a connection to your broker. A browser-only journal keeps everything on your device, but you import files yourself, and clearing browser data erases the journal unless you back it up.
- Asset coverage. If you trade stocks, options or futures as well as crypto, a multi-asset journal fits better. Daily Edge only does crypto.
- Subscription vs one-off. Monthly plans here run from about $15 to $80 per month on the listed prices. Compare that with how many trades a month you actually review.
- Depth of analytics. The paid tools offer far more reports, replay and AI features than Daily Edge. If you'll use them, that's what you're paying for.
